Joel Nilsen
I have been providing professional decorative finishes for residential and commercial clients throughout the United States since 1987. My work has appeared in Seattle Magazine, on KIRO television, and featured in Street Of Dreams.
Nilsen Architectural Finishes' extensive samples library gives owners, architects, and interior designers hands-on access to hundreds of design possibilities for their projects, and will work with you on concept development thru final installation
to achieve the desired artistic product.
For prospective clients seeking the right decorative artist for commercial installations, Nilsen Architectural Finishes, working with the Visual Merchandising Department at Macy's Seattle, nearly doubled sales in the furniture division by creating specific visual environments for each furniture vendor; Nilsen Architectural Finishes became the go-to provider of decorative finishes for Macy's stores in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and Montana.
My Street of Dreams finishes (ceilings and walls faux marble) were instrumental in winning the
"Best Master Suite" competition.
I was the principal artist, working with Designer Leila Serio Friedenberg, on the Stroheim and Romann Wallpaper line "Fauxlio II"
My work has also been featured in high-end Custom Homes, Restaurants, Retail stores, Athletic Clubs, Corporate Offices, Hotels, TV studios, Trade Shows, and the Hunt-Phelan Mansion renovation in Memphis.
