For the past 30 years, I have had the opportunity to work on commercial and residential projects across the US and Hawaii producing over 200.000 sq ft of artistic finishes on walls, floors, ceilings, exteriors, furniture, photo shoots, trade shows, tv studios, department stores, restaurants, and more.
In 1986 while working on Cape Cod, I met Jeannie Guerin of the National Historical Restoration Society who introduced me to world of Decorative Arts. Working with Jeannie led me to Joanne Day and the Day Studio/Workshop in San Francisco and New York City. My extensive training at the Studio focused on color theory, gilding and glazing techniques, and fractal composition found in nature. As the trends in Decorative Arts evolved, I became intrigued with Venetian Plasters that opened up a whole world of finishes. I have trained with Giovanni Polistena of Stucco Italiano and continue to train with Ofer Regev of Texston Industries on all the their new and up coming finishes.
